As they say, love knows no boundaries. Love does not discriminate between color, religion, caste or country for that matter. One such Plush couple was – Felicia Snyder and Tegh Singh Bedi. The couple, who first were acquainted to each other in New Delhi, fell in love while studying at Wharton Business School. While the proposal took place took place in Chicago in the presence of both the families, the wedding destination was decided as India. What followed suit was a beautiful mélange of Jewish and Sikh traditions.

To kick off the wedding celebrations, the couple held an intimate all-white Jewish wedding ceremony at Imperial Hotel, New Delhi. The couple exchanged vows under the beautifully decorated Chuppah, the Jewish wedding canopy. Post this the party moved to Jaipur. The couple wanted an Indian wedding ceremony at a palatial property to showcase the grandeur and richness India has to offer. We were approached by the couple and after the initial discussions, the professional team at Plush Weddings were hired as the official planners for the grand three day destination wedding celebrations at Samode Palace, Jaipur.

The team at Plush was responsible for the planning and execution of the entire event. Customized wedding stationary such as welcome card, itinerary, thank you card, luggage tags, etc. were designed by the in-house design team. The hospitality team was responsible to manage the guests, including the check-ins & check-outs for all rooms. The celebrations began with a grand Sangeet night on the first evening. The evening was filled with fun and dancing where the guests enjoyed themselves thoroughly. The eye catching element of the décor was the customized animal motifs printed linen for all the tables as the bride had a particular liking for them. The tables were accessorized with wooden artifacts of peacocks and elephants, which were sourced especially for the couple.

The Mehndi ceremony took place in the lawns of the Samode Palace the following afternoon. The mehndi ceremony was an easy going fun-filled event. The décor was done up in the colorful shades to showcase the rich cultures and traditions of Rajasthan.
